Green Product/Service of the Year
Humanity is using earth’s resources 1.7 times faster than the planet’s biocapacity can regenerate. With 30,000 new products and gadgets launched globally every year, many of them contain valuable metals and minerals that have traditionally ended up in landfill. This award will be given to the vendor whose product can be classed as sustainable in every way from production to supply, whether this is down to recycled materials within the product, reduced packaging, or sourcing materials from renewable sources. Entrants must describe the green credentials of the product and provide stats/figures to prove the claim.
- What is the product/service and why is it ‘green’?
- How are you working with channel partners to get this product/service to customers?
- Share stats and figures on resources the product/service is helping to save
- Include testimonials from partners and customers if needed
Open to: IT vendors and Service Providers
Circular Company of the Year
Every year, 40 million tons of electronic waste is produced by the technology industry alone: the equivalent to binning 800 laptops every second. All the materials and components used in the production of IT equipment can be reused and recycled, and laptops/desktops/devices can be refurbished and given a new lease of life. According to Statista, the circular economy was worth $339bn in 2022 and is set to double by 2026.
This award will go to the company that is making the biggest strides in the circular economy - whether this is recycling or refurbishing old equipment, saving tonnes of materials from going to landfill, or running projects to eliminate electronic waste altogether.
Open to:
Any company in the channel ecosystem
Rising Sustainability Star Award (individual)
Because sustainability is something every channel firm of every size will have to take seriously from 2026 onwards, due to changes to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), many companies are creating new roles to focus on this area, and many are recruiting graduates or apprentices to help drive their strategy, are giving the job to more junior members of staff to help their career development, or are asking several members of a team to share the responsibility.
This category is aimed at recognising all these up-and-coming sustainability stars and shining a light on the amazing work they are doing to raise awareness within their own companies and ensure sustainability is always at the top of the agenda.
The candidates can be apprentices or graduates, or existing team members who have jumped at the chance for more responsibility and a chance to make a difference, and are coming up with some amazing initiatives and ideas in this ever changing and expanding space.
Open to: Any company in the IT ecosystem
Green Shoots Award
So many companies are only just starting out on their sustainability/ESG journey, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t making great strides, or are doing some amazing things to make a difference. This award is aimed at those companies that are at the beginning of their sustainability journey, but who have already made great progress, or implemented an impressive initiative/campaign that has generated solid results.

This can range from sourcing and transporting raw materials for products, reducing packaging, using electric vehicles for delivery/transportation/warehousing, reducing emissions during production of a product, or disposing/recycling products and packaging at end of life. The award is aimed at any company or partnership of companies, that are taking steps to slash emissions across its/their entire supply chain, reduce waste and resource usage, and who can provide tangible results of the positive impact they are making on the environment through their particular initiative.
