Sustainability in Tech Summit

As an industry, we have a collective duty of care to do all we can to reduce our emissions and preserve our planet for future generations. Collectively the carbon footprint of gadgets, the internet and the systems supporting it account for global greenhouse gas emissions on a similar level to that produced by the airline industry.

Sustainability in Tech Summit 2025 brought together the UK IT channel to talk about the most pressing issues facing our industry, and how we can all work together to tackle this urgent issue. Described as a ‘big green bubble of love’ by attendees and speakers last year, we saw the industry at its very best, with examples of best practice and guidance shared on where companies of all sizes should start their journeys.

This year, the event was bigger and better, attendees left feeling encouraged, enlightened and raring to get started on or further their decarbonisation journeys. The event was an ideal networking opportunity, and many partnerships and exciting ventures were discussed, and acted upon during and after the event had long finished.

CRN will also presented the Sustainability in Tech Awards at the end of the event, to showcase all the amazing work that is already being done by so many channel companies.
