Virginie Le Barbu is Global Sustainability Director at Lenovo. She is responsible of the sustainability strategy and ESG framework to support Lenovo’s downstream ecosystem. As part of her role, she also leads the sustainability channel led community called Lenovo 360 Circle. With her team, she defines ESG Channel objectives and implements an efficient ESG data reporting framework to accelerate progresses and impacts within the industry. Virginie is responsible for prioritizing ESG market needs and coordinating efforts within the internal/external cross-functional teams to enhance the adoption of new sustainable solutions and programs for customers and partners. Virginie leads a team of sustainability experts to support the sustainability customer and partner strategy and ESG programs deployment. She also builds a culture of collaboration to accelerate corporate transformation around sustainability and facilitate access to knowledge and best practices sharing. In her 20+ years in IT, Virginie has worked in a myriad of roles inside Lenovo including finance, sales, operations as wells as customer experience and incubation business. Virginie lives in Geneva, Switzerland and hold a master in finance as well as a MBA in Sustainability Management.
