David has more than 20 years of experience working in the IT channel – almost all of which he has spent at TD SYNNEX. He first joined Computer 2000 (which became TD SYNNEX UK&I in 2013) in 1998 and subsequently held various positions in sales and management before becoming General Manager of the PC division in 2003. He then spent two years as Head of Samsung Electronics' UK Display division before returning to TD SYNNEX in 2007. In 2016 David became Acting Managing Director as TD SYNNEX continued its European expansion. He was then appointed Managing Director in February 2018, responsible for the day-to-day running and performance of the business and setting out its future direction within the overall TD SYNNEX global strategy. In February 2021 David was promoted to Senior Vice President, UK and Ireland. In May 2023, David became the executive sponsor of the Global Solutions EMEA team. Global Solutions exists to enable partners to deliver on multi-country sales opportunities and David will support the team to fulfil its mission of helping international partners to expand their businesses by simplifying the complex and leveraging TD SYNNEX’s geographic reach, specialist capabilities and expertise. David has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Brunel University.
